Throughout
history, military conflicts have provoked impassioned
debate over the role of force in defending free
and democratic societies. Regardless of your personal feelings
about war, we hope all Americans can agree the rights we enjoy
today would not exist, were it not for the willingness of
men long dead to breathe life into the Declaration of Independence
with actions suited to its fiery rhetoric.
We owe a great debt to the men and women of today's armed forces. America has not always done a good job of saying "thank you" to those who defend us. With your help, we'd like to change that. |

Conference
at the Westin Gateway, Arlington, VA. Operation Fresh Air provides families of
wounded soldiers and Marines from Walter Reed RAMC and Bethesda
NH with the opportunity to escape the hospital wards for an
afternoon. In partnership with other local groups who support
military veterans, we offer great food, sunshine, fun and
games, fishing, music, boat rides, and above all the chance
to relax and unwind in a beautiful wooded park setting.
